Với việc chỉ đạt 76,1% kế hoạch doanh thu trong năm 2018 dù lợi nhuận sau thuế đạt 106,2%, Tracodi đang cho thấy, không phải cứ kinh doanh nhiều sản phẩm là sẽ mang lại nhiều lợi nhuận, mà phải biết tập trung vào các sản phẩm chủ lực trong lúc phân mảnh.
Năm 2018 là một năm không như ý với Ban lãnh đạo Công ty CP Đầu tư Phát triển Công nghiệp và Vận Tải – Tracodi, dù lợi nhuận sau thuế của họ vượt kế hoạch với 81,858 tỷ đồng, nhưng doanh thu thuần chỉ có 876,265 tỷ đồng, trong khi kế hoạch là 1.150,206 tỷ đồng.
Doanh thu hoạt động xây dựng chỉ đạt 50,5% kế hoạch bởi một số công trình dự án dự kiến triển khai thi công có khối lượng còn dang dở chưa kịp ghi nhận doanh thu trong năm 2018. Bên cạnh đó, doanh thu từ hoạt động kinh doanh thương mại cũng sụt giảm, do công ty điều chỉnh định hướng tập trung kinh doanh các sản phẩm chủ lực của các công ty thành viên trong công ty mẹ Bamboo Capital Group và chỉ khai thác đơn hàng có tỷ suất lợi nhuận tốt.
Mặt khác, hoạt động kinh doanh của Vinataxi – đơn vị mà họ đang góp vốn đầu tư cũng khá ảm đạm. Vinataxi đang ngày càng đuối trong cuộc chiến với Vinasun, Mai Linh, Grab…:doanh thu năm 2018 của doanh nghiệp này chỉ là 46,2 tỷ đồng, đạt 47,3% kế hoạch đề ra, lợi nhuận sau thuế lỗ 4,068 tỷ đồng. Do thiếu hụt tài xế nên họ chỉ có thể duy trì số xe taxi dưới 300 thay vì 400 như kế hoạch.
Hai mảng kinh doanh còn lại là khai thác đá tại liên doanh Antraco và xuất khẩu lao động ở Tracodi Labour không chỉ hoàn thành doanh thu mà còn vượt kế hoạch, lần lượt mang về cho Tracodi 397,5 tỷ đồng – 8,3 tỷ đồng.
Rõ ràng, đa dạng hóa các lĩnh vực kinh doanh là tốt, nhưng không phải cứ bán nhiều sản phẩm hay tham gia đầu tư càng nhiều ngành nghề càng mang lại nhiều lợi nhuận.
Để tránh vết xe đổ như trong năm 2018, năm 2019, mục tiêu doanh thu của Tracodi cũng chỉ là 1.053,305 tỷ đồng, hơn một chút so với mục tiêu năm 2018, đồng thời họ chỉ tập trung vào một vài sản phẩm cơ bản trong mảng thương mại và có kế hoạch thoái vốn khỏi Vinataxi.
Năm 2019, trong mảng thương mại, Tracodi sẽ tập trung vào 4 sản phẩm: cà phê thương hiệu Dr Nam – gỗ ngoại thất truyền thống cho thị trường quốc tế và tinh bột sắn – phân bón vi sinh cho thị trường quốc nội. Tracodi vừa mua lại nhà máy tinh bột sắn lớn nhất miền Nam Thành Vũ Tây Ninh và đổi tên thành Tapiotek.
“Tháng 11/2018 vừa qua, HĐQT Tracodi đã ra nghị quyết chủ trường về việc thực hiện thoái vốn hoạt động kinh doanh vận tải hành khách. Việc rút vốn khỏi Vinataxi – thương hiệu tồn tại hơn 26 năm qua, là một quyết định vô cùng khó khăn nhưng cần thiết ở thời điểm hiện tại, nhằm bảo tồn vốn và thu hồi vốn phục vụ hoạt động sản xuất kinh doanh các ngành nghề cốt lõi hiện hữu. Chủ trương thoái vốn vẫn đang trong quá trình thực hiện”, ông Nguyễn Thanh Hùng – Phó Tổng giám đốc Tracodi cho biết trong Đại hội cổ đông năm 2019 vừa qua.
Trong tất cả, mảng xây dựng vẫn sẽ là nơi mang về doanh thu chủ lực cho Tracodi, dự kiến doanh số 435,9 tỷ đồng sẽ đến từ các dự án Malibu Resort – Đà Nẵng, King Crown – Thảo Điền, dự án BT nâng cấp mở rộng ĐT 830C – Long An, san lấp hạ tầng cho dự án nhà máy năng lượng mặt trời Thạnh Hóa – Long An, dự án Casa Marina giai đoạn 2, dự án Pegas – Nha Trang…
Một điểm đáng chú ý nữa, Tracodi đang có ý định sẽ điều chỉnh quy mô và chức năng của dự án tại khu đất vàng trung tâm Quận 1, hiện đang là trụ sở chính của Tracodi. Họ đề xuất chỉ xây dựng tòa nhà có chức năng văn phòng làm việc cho công ty mẹ Bamboo Capital Group và xây dựng trên diện tích đất được giao 1.048m2, tổng mức đầu tư dự kiến tầm 850 tỷ đồng.
