Khi 12 tuổi, cậu đã đi bưng bê cà phê, hái mít thuê, đi giao hàng để kiếm tiền phụ giúp bố mẹ. Do điều kiện gia đình, cậu đã quyết định nghỉ học khi kết thúc bậc Trung học phổ thông. Trong khi các bạn đều lên thành phố với mong muốn tương lai rộng mở, chàng trai trẻ lại quyết định ở lại khởi nghiệp trên mảnh đất quê hương. “Một phần, em suy nghĩ gia đình không có điều kiện, nghỉ học sớm để bố mẹ đỡ lo một phần. Phần khác, em cũng thích làm nông nghiệp nên quyết định ở quê nhà khởi nghiệp với mảng này”, Phu cho hay.


Không giống bạn bè cùng trang lứa, Tằng Hắm Phu lựa chọn khởi nghiệp trên mảnh đất quê hương khi kết thúc chương trình học cấp 3.

Từ việc kinh doanh hoa hồng nhỏ lẻ, cậu dần sở hữu một vườn hồng với hàng nghìn cây.

Ngay khi chấm dứt việc học, câu bắt đầu buôn bán hoa lan. Nhưng sau hơn 1 năm, cậu nhận thấy loại cây này thị trường đã bão hòa, việc làm kinh tế từ loại cây này sẽ khó khăn trong tương lai.

Với lối sống tiết kiệm cộng với mục tiêu đã đặt sẵn, cách đây khoảng 2 năm, cậu đã mua được mảnh đất đồi rộng 2.000m2, giá mua là 500 triệu đồng để trồng hàng nghìn gốc hoa hồng. 
“Hầu hết là số tiền của em dành dụm được sau những năm đi làm và kinh doanh. Em chỉ vay mượn một ít của gia đình và trả hết nợ ngay sau đó”, cậu chia sẻ.

Ngoài trồng hồng, cậu còn trồng nhiều loại rau, hoa, quả khác và nuôi thêm cá, các con vật khác…

Ở mảnh đất này, cậu đã dựng lên ngôi nhà nhỏ, xung quanh có đầy đủ các loại rau củ quả, vật nuôi và hàng nghìn cây hoa hồng… Ngoài ra, cậu dành một khoảng đất để làm hồ nuôi cá, làm ao thả sen. Nhìn khung cảnh, ai cũng nghĩ đó như một homestay đầy thơ mộng làm bao người mê mẩn.
