Tối ngày 20/1, bà Phạm Thu Hương , phu nhân Chủ tịch Vingroup lần đầu lộ diện trước công chúng đã trở thành tâm điểm chú ý của dư luận. Bởi từ trước đến nay, tỷ phú Phạm Nhật Vượng vốn là người rất kín tiếng về đời tư, thông tin và hình ảnh về gia đình hầu như chưa từng được ông chia sẻ hay xuất hiện trên báo chí.
Mọi người chỉ biết rằng tỷ phú Phạm Nhật Vượng kết hôn với bạn thời đại học là bà Phạm Thu Hương vào năm 1993. Hai người cùng nhau lập nghiệp ở Liên Xô và gây dựng nên Tập đoàn Vingroup. Họ có 3 người con, 2 trai và 1 gái, lần lượt là Phạm Nhật Quân Anh, Phạm Nhật Minh Hoàng và Phạm Nhật Minh Anh.
Trong một lần hiếm hoi trả lời phỏng vấn trên báo Tuổi trẻ vào đầu năm 2019, ông Vượng đã khẳng định, gia đình vô cùng quan trọng với ông.
“Gia đình giúp cho mình cân bằng trong cuộc sống, nói cho cùng đó cũng là hạnh phúc tuổi già. Khi đó không phải là tiền mình có bao nhiêu, mà đội ngũ xung quanh mình: đầu tiên là gia đình, sau đó là anh em, bạn bè, là chỗ tình nghĩa để chia sẻ, để khỏi cô đơn, cô độc. Quan điểm của tôi từ xưa đã nghĩ thế rồi. Tôi không đi về lượng, mà tôi đi về chất“, ông Vượng chia sẻ.
Đặc biệt, ông Vượng còn kể thêm rằng ông là người đề cao lao động, luôn yêu cầu các con phải chịu khó lao động và phải rèn luyện. Điển hình là câu chuyện ông để cậu con trai cả tự kiếm tiền bằng việc xếp gạch.
“Như cậu con trai đầu, ngày xưa ở bên Ukraine sân nhà tôi rất rộng, đến mùa hè tôi mua một xe gạch về đổ xuống sân, cháu và mấy đứa bạn cứ chở từ đầu này đến đầu kia, sắp xếp xong là được 100 đô. Cứ vậy mà làm miệt mài cả mùa hè“, ông Vượng kể.
Người con trai cả đang làm việc trong tập đoàn của gia đình, ông Vượng yêu cầu con phải đi làm, đi công tác thường xuyên, xuống tận cơ sở để nắm tình hình chứ không thể chỉ ngồi văn phòng thảnh thơi.
Đồng thời vị tỷ phú cũng để con trai theo chân mình và các “lão tướng” trong tập đoàn để học cách làm việc nhằm tích lũy kinh nghiệm quý giá cho bản thân. Theo quan điểm của tỷ phú Phạm Nhật Vượng, các con phải chịu khó lao động, yêu lao động và phải tự rèn luyện, không được ỷ lại vào gia đình.

Cậu cả bị lên xuống mấy lần rồi đấy, cứ làm được thì thăng chức, không được thì xuống thôi“, tỷ phú Phạm Nhật Vượng chia sẻ trong một cuộc phỏng vấn gần đây.
Ông cũng cho biết thêm, cô con gái út của mình vẫn thường xuyên phải làm việc nhà, rửa bát sau khi ăn cơm.
Khi được hỏi về việc nối nghiệp gia đình , tỷ phú Phạm Nhật Vượng cho rằng, cách tốt nhất để các con phát triển, vươn lên đó chính là học hỏi từ mình, từ các vị lãnh đạo lâu năm trong công ty bởi đó là những người thầy tốt với kinh nghiệm thương trường tích lũy nhiều năm qua.
“Quan điểm của tôi là không bắt sau này các con phải ôm công việc của bố. Các con yêu thích và có năng lực đến đâu thì làm đến đấy, không thì thôi, không thể hủy hoại sự nghiệp mà bao nhiêu người tâm huyết xúm lại làm mới ra được…
Với tư cách người bố, tôi muốn để lại tình thương yêu vô bờ bến, và quan trọng nhất là muốn chúng luôn là người tử tế, chứ không yêu cầu con cái phải làm cái nọ cái kia. Tôi cũng không dứt khoát cứ phải cha truyền con nối. Vì nếu con không làm được hoặc không muốn làm mà mình bắt ép thì chúng khổ“, chủ tịch Vingroup cho biết.
