Bài viết này tôi xin gửi tặng những bạn trẻ đang và sẽ vượt qua những kì thi vũ môn sắp tới.
Tôi luôn ám ảnh về việc viết sách trong đầu, cho dù tôi có viết đến cuốn sách thứ 9 sắp xuất bản, được biết đến là Giảng viên, Giám đốc hoặc bất cứ vai trò nào khác.
Cách đây 4 năm, tôi đã từng kiếm sống từ những bài viết trị giá chỉ 20.000 VND. Suốt ngày chỉ viết và viết, dù cho sức khoẻ và vẻ ngoài xuống cấp, tôi vẫn có cố sống một cách ổn thoả, dù không thoải mái cho lắm nhưng tôi vẫn chấp nhận điều đó.
Mặc dù là yếu tố rất quan trọng và là thứ để trang trải những chi tiêu cần thiết trong cuộc sống, nhưng tiền không phải mục đích duy nhất của tôi khi đi làm. Nếu mang một áp lực trên vai rằng chỉ có tiền và tiền, chắc chắn tôi sẽ không dám chấp nhận bước vào những “cuộc chơi” liều lĩnh trong sự nghiệp, bởi vì cái tôi nhận được là những trải nghiệm – Thứ không thể quy đổi được bằng tờ giấy bạc be bé kia.
Trước đây, tôi vẫn thường hay trách một “người cũ” của tôi rằng sao anh làm việc nhiều như thế để làm gì, thời gian đâu mà anh dành cho gia đình hay người yêu. Nhưng sau này, tôi mới nhận ra được, giá trị của một người đàn ông và cả phụ nữ, có thể quy ra được bằng những gì mà người đó làm được và thái độ của họ đối với cuộc sống.Muốn theo đuổi ước mơ ư? Trước hết là không bỏ cuộc dẫu nhọc nhằn mỗi ngày, không cam chịu trong vòng an toàn của chính mình cái đã. Thời gian là tiền bạc. Nếu đã bước vào một cuộc chơi, phải học cách chơi, chứ không phải là sung sức ban đầu rồi chán ngấy theo thời gian. “Phải biết sống và phải biết cách chết” – Napoleon Bonaparte đã từng nói như vậy. Tôi đã từng viết rất nhiều thể loại, từ bài báo, nội dung quảng cáo, câu slogan… cùng với sự xoay chuyển nhiều ngành nghề. Mỗi ngành dạy tôi một kiểu tư duy khai thác tâm lý khách hàng khác nhau, làm cho tôi biết học cách quan sát mọi người, biết lắng nghe những tâm tư của họ, thay vì chủ quan nghĩ rằng họ giống tôi.
Dĩ nhiên, trong hành trình để chinh phục sự nghiệp, chắc chắn bạn sẽ gặp không ít khó khăn: Từ kiến thức mới, từ sự khen chê của sếp, từ sự đấu đá của những đồng nghiệp xung quanh. Bí quyết để tiến lên đó là sự cẩn trọng, từ suy nghĩ, hành động đến lời nói, xem xét lại tất cả những gì mình đã từng làm và đang làm, để biết đâu là Đúng – Sai.
Sẽ có những lúc bạn tự nhủ vì sao mình đã phấn đấu hết sức mình nhưng kết quả nhận lại chỉ là công cốc? Vậy hãy đặt câu hỏi, bạn có đang tự hài lòng với chính mình? Bạn có đang vẫn duy trì theo những lối mòn? Bạn có đang vẫn tư duy cũ kĩ theo kiểu “như chưa hề có cuộc chia ly”? Có thành công nào mà không trả giá?
Nếu có ai hỏi, 20.000 VND – Có đáng không cho một bài viết? Có đáng không cho một nỗ lực? Khi bạn quyết tâm đi trên con đường sự nghiệp, bạn sẽ thấy, mọi con số đều không có giới hạn, mọi người không mắc nợ bạn, chỉ có bạn là người cần phải cố gắng để đạt lấy mọi thứ. Không tuỳ tiện hành động, không hứa hẹn qua loa, dẫu cho cuộc sống hiện tại của chúng ta đang căng thẳng như nước rút vậy.
