Kết quả kinh doanh năm 2018, doanh thu hợp nhất đạt 6.062 tỷ đồng, tăng gần gấp 10 lần so với con số 625 tỷ đồng đạt được năm trước đó. Lợi nhuận sau thuế cũng gần gấp 7 lần cùng kỳ, đạt 881 tỷ đồng, trong đó lợi nhuận sau thuế thuộc về cổ đông công ty mẹ đạt 880 tỷ đồng.
Đánh giá kết quả kinh doanh năm 2018, ban lãnh đạo công ty cho rằng đây là năm thuận lợi với giá cả sản phẩm, nguyên vật liệu trên thị trường phân bón đều tăng cao, đặc biệt là axit photphoric trích ly để sản xuất phân bón.
Tổng sản lượng tiêu thụ photph vàng trong năm đạt 40.900 tấn, tăng 26% so với năm trước đó. Sản lượng tiêu thụ axit photphoric TP85 tăng 17% so với cùng kỳ, đạt 25.291 tấn. Đặc biệt sản lượng tiêu thụ Silicat và SSP tăng lần lượt 48% và 33% so với cùng kỳ, còn sản lượng tiêu thụ ATPP tăng đến 145%.
Với kết quả đạt được, HĐQT công ty đề xuất phương án phân phối lợi nhuận, trong đó chia cổ tức tổng tỷ lệ 30% với 15% bằng tiền mặt và 15% bằng cổ phiếu. Trước đó công ty đã tạm ứng 10% cổ tức bằng tiền cho cổ đông.
Mục tiêu lãi 700 tỷ đồng năm 2019
Năm 2019 Bột giặt và Hóa chất Đức Giang dự kiến lãi sau thuế 700 tỷ đồng và phấn đấu chia cổ tức tỷ lệ 30%.
Đổi tên công ty
Đổi tên công ty thành CTCP Tập đoàn Hóa chất Đức Giang. Đồng thời cơ cấu lại bộ máy nhân sự. Ban lãnh đạo công ty cho rằng năm 2019 là năm đầu tiên sau khi công ty thực hiện tái cơ cấu, sáp nhập và đổi sang mô hình Tập đoàn.
Nhằm đáp ứng với giai đoạn phát triển mới, HĐQT công ty thông qua miễn nhiệm các Thành viên HĐQT, BKS nhiệm kỳ 2015-2020 và bầu nhân sự mới nhiệm kỳ 2019-2024. Các Thành viên HĐQT và BKS mới được đề xuất đều là các nhân sự đương nhiệm.
Đồng thời trình phương án để Chủ tịch HĐQT công ty kiêm nhiệm chức vụ Tổng Giám đốc.
Phát hành cổ phiếu ESOP
Bột giặt và Hóa chất Đức Giang cũng trình phương án phát hành 5,39 triệu cổ phiếu ESOP cho người lao động trong công ty. Giá phát hành 10.000 đồng/cổ phiếu.
Đối tượng phát hành là cán bộ công nhân viên công ty và các công ty con (Công ty TNHH Hóa chất Đức Giang Là Cai, Công ty Hóa chất Đức Giang Đình Vũ). Thời gian thực hiện ngay trong năm 2019.
