Chiều 28.9, trả lời báo chí về việc vì sao trước đó Sở Y tế TP.HCM yêu cầu các quận, huyện tạm ngừng tiêm lô vacwsb xin FK0112 của Pfizer, bác sĩ Nguyễn Thị Huỳnh Mai, Chánh văn phòng Sở Y tế TP.HCM, cho biết trong quá trình quản lý điều hành, nếu thấy có một số vấn đề cần chấn chỉnh lại, Sở Y tế sẽ yêu cầu tạm ngưng, sau khi khắc phục những điểm theo yêu cầu của cơ quan quản lý, thì cho tiêm trở lại. “Đến nay, không có 1 văn bản nào yêu cầu là ngưng tiêm. Chỉ có lệnh miệng từ trên đối với với hệ thống y tế”, bác sĩ Mai nói.
Theo ông Phan Nguyễn Như Khuê, Trưởng ban Tuyên giáo Thành ủy TP.HCM, cho biết việc này là vấn đề công tác nội bộ, qua việc rà soát lại các trạm y tế lưu động, điểm tiêm và tăng cường lực lượng cho xét nghiệm theo chỉ đạo của Ban Chỉ đạo phòng chống dịch quốc gia; kết hợp với đó là kế hoạch mở rộng nâng tỷ lệ tiêm mũi 2 của TP.HCM.
