Ông Trương Công Thắng trở thành Chủ tịch HĐQT NETCO sau hơn nửa năm từ thời điểm Masan thâu tóm công ty sản xuất bột giặt này.
Cuộc họp Đại hội đồng cổ đông bất thường của Công ty Cổ phần Bột giặt NET (NETCO) ngày 24/9 đã miễn nhiệm 2 thành viên HĐQT và bầu bổ sung 4 nhân sự vào ban lãnh đạo doanh nghiệp. Số lượng thành viên HĐQT của NETCO theo đó tăng từ 5 lên 7 người.
Các thành viên mới của HĐQT NETCO đều là nhân sự đến từ Tập đoàn Masan. Tập đoàn của tỷ phú Nguyễn Đăng Quang thông qua công ty con Masan HPC mua lại 52% cổ phần NETCO vào tháng 2. Sau thương vụ trị giá 550 tỷ đồng này, Masan trở thành công ty mẹ NETCO.
4 thành viên mới của HĐQT NETCO gồm bà Nguyễn Hoàng Yến, ông Trương Công Thắng, ông Huỳnh Việt Thăng, ông Ngô Văn Phước. Sau khi kiện toàn bộ máy lãnh đạo, HĐQT NETCO đã bầu ông Trương Công Thắng làm Chủ tịch.
Ông Trương Công Thắng sinh năm 1973, là lãnh đạo của hàng loạt công ty trong Tập đoàn Masan. Tân chủ tịch NETCO hiện là tổng giám đốc Công ty Hàng tiêu dùng Masan (Masan Consumer), một trong những mảng kinh doanh quan trọng nhất của tập đoàn.
Sau khi Masan mua lại hệ thống bán lẻ của Vingroup, ông Thắng đồng thời đảm nhận vị trí Tổng giám đốc VinCommerce, công ty vận hành chuỗi Vinmart, Vinmart+ và nông trại VinEco. Ngoài ra, ông Thắng còn là Chủ tịch của The CrownX và The Sherpa, 2 công ty được Masan thành lập nhằm hoàn tất thương vụ sáp nhập VinCommerce.

NETCO được thành lập vào năm 1968, là một trong các doanh nghiệp nội địa lớn sản xuất sản phẩm chăm sóc gia đình tại thị trường Việt Nam. Hai thương hiệu bột giặt phổ biến nhất của công ty là NET và NETSOFT.
Ngoài các thương hiệu riêng, NETCO còn là đối tác chiến lược của Unilever trong việc cung ứng các sản phẩm chất tẩy rửa như OMO, Surf, Sunlight, VIM. Công ty cũng xuất khẩu bột giặt, nước rửa chén, nước giặt, nước tẩy đa năng đi Australia, Nhật Bản, New Zealand và thị trường các nước ASEAN, châu Mỹ, châu Phi.
Thị phần hiện tại của công ty con thuộc Masan trong ngành hàng bột giặt là 1,5%. Đây là con số tương đối khiêm tốn nếu so sánh với các doanh nghiệp đa quốc gia như Unilever với 54,9% thị phần, Procter & Gamble (P&G) với 16% thị phần.
Lũy kế 6 tháng đầu năm, NETCO đạt doanh thu 726 tỷ đồng và lợi nhuận ròng 74 tỷ. So với kỳ kế toán bán niên 2019, hai chỉ tiêu này của hãng bột giặt hơn 50 năm tuổi tăng mạnh 36% và 111% sau khi về với tập đoàn của tỷ phú Nguyễn Đăng Quang.
