Theo Xesi chia sẻ, bài hát Đắm thuộc thể loại “moombahton” (sự kết hợp giữa house và reggaeton) và pha lẫn một chút âm hưởng latin. Xesi từng muốn thể hiện Đắm theo dạng kể chuyện nhưng thời lượng bài khá ngắn nên ý tưởng không khả thi. Cô phải linh động lựa chọn một dạng kịch bản khác, không ngờ lại mang phong cách hiện đại, xúc tích.
Kể về quá trình thực hiện sản phẩm âm nhạc, Xesi chia sẻ: “MV Đắm được lên ý tưởng và hoàn thành trong khoảng hơn 1 tuần, quay gần 1 ngày. Mọi thứ diễn ra khá suôn sẻ. Có thể nói đây là một thử thách với mình vì mình chưa bao giờ tập nhảy trong một thời gian gấp rút như vậy.
