Sau khi các khu cách ly tự quản của Vietnam Airlines bị buộc dừng hoạt động, doanh nghiệp phải chuyển sang cách ly tổ bay tại khách sạn, khiến chi phí cách ly tổ bay tăng thêm.
TP.HCM vừa tạm ngưng hoạt động thêm một khu cách ly tập trung của Hãng hàng không Vietnam Airlines tại số 1 Hồng Hà, phường 2, quận Tân Bình (TP.HCM). Đây là khu cách ly tập trung cuối cùng của hãng tại TP.HCM.
Trung tâm Kiểm soát Bệnh tật TP.HCM (HCDC) cũng yêu cầu doanh nghiệp trước 12h ngày 2/12 phải hoàn tất việc chuyển tổ bay sang cách ly ở khách sạn. Trước đó, khu cách ly tập trung của đoàn bay Vietnam Airlines tại số 115 Hồng Hà cũng đã phải đóng cửa sau sai phạm trong quy trình cách ly khiến nam tiếp viên D.T.H. (bệnh nhân 1342) lây lan SARS-CoV-2 ra cộng đồng.

Với 3 cơ sở cách ly tập trung tự quản, Vietnam Airlines có số lượng nhân viên đang thực hiện cách ly hiện nay là 825 người, trong đó có 473 người đang ở khu cách ly tập trung và 352 người cách ly tại nhà.
Các trường hợp tổ bay cách ly tại TP.HCM sẽ được hãng bay di chuyển cách ly về 2 khách sạn là Đệ Nhất (phường 4, quận Tân Bình) và Park Royal (phường 1, quận Tân Bình). Đây là hai khách sạn 4 sao với mức giá phòng cách ly trả phí thấp nhất là 1,8 triệu đồng/người/ngày.
Nếu toàn bộ 825 nhân viên đang cách ly tập trung được hãng chuyển sang cách ly tại khách sạn trả phí với lựa chọn hiện tại, hãng bay sẽ cần chi gần 1,5 tỷ đồng mỗi ngày chỉ riêng chi phí cách ly, chưa tính các chi phí xét nghiệm khác.
Trong tương lai gần, Vietnam Airlines có thể giảm chi phí cách ly bằng lựa chọn chuyển sang cách ly tổ bay tại các khu cách ly tập trung như tại Củ Chi với chi phí hơn 300.000 đồng/người/ngày. Tuy nhiên các khu cách ly tập trung dạng này cũng đang hoạt động gần hết công suất.
Để đa dạng hơn lựa chọn cho hành khách, đầu tháng 10, Sở Du lịch TP.HCM cũng khẳng định đang phối hợp để khảo sát 15 khách sạn với 982 phòng nữa trong phân khúc 1-2 sao, giá từ 1,25 triệu đồng trở xuống. Động thái này sẽ bổ sung thêm lựa chọn cho Vietnam Airlines, giúp hãng tiết kiệm chi phí cách ly tổ bay tại khách sạn.
Tại họp báo chiều 1/12, Bộ trưởng, Chủ nhiệm VPCP Mai Tiến Dũng thông tin Bộ GTVT đã ra quyết định tạm đình chỉ 15 ngày trưởng đoàn tiếp viên hàng không của Vietnam Airlines để kiểm điểm, rút kinh nghiệm.
Thủ tướng cũng yêu cầu bãi bỏ việc cách ly do doanh nghiệp quản lý sau sự việc xuất hiện lây nhiễm chéo tại khu cách ly do Vietnam Airlines quản lý, dẫn tới trường hợp nam tiếp viên D.T.H. (bệnh nhân 1342) lây lan Sars-CoV-2 ra cộng đồng.
Sáng 3/12, Công an TP.HCM đã chỉ đạo cơ quan an ninh điều tra TP.HCM khởi tố vụ án Làm lây lan dịch bệnh truyền nhiễm nguy hiểm cho người, theo Điều 240 Bộ Luật Hình sự 2015 (sửa đổi, bổ sung năm 2017). Cơ quan An ninh điều tra đã có quyết định số 02 ngày 3/12/2020 về khởi tố vụ án hình sự.
